My Story

Hi I'm Amanda thank you for visiting my page. I decided I wanted to run the Great North Run this year for the British Liver Trust the reason I chose this charity was it was very close to my heart. In December 2020 my Mam fell ill with Liver failure we were told the only chance of survival would be for a liver transplant whilst awaiting the liver transplant my Mam sadly passed away on 6th June. I will now be raising as much money as I possibly can in memory of my Mam. The British Liver Trust, are the UK's leading liver health charity working to improve liver health for all and supporting those affected by liver disease. The help and support they give to families is 2nd to none and I would like to give something back to them.
