My Story

I previously hiked 1000 miles of the PCT in 2019, in aid of the British Lung Foundation, as both my mum and mum-in-law had serious lung issues. Sadly, since then, my mum passed away, during the pandemic.

Already reeling from that, exactly one week later my wife, Fleur, went into hospital with liver failure. I could not even visit due to covid restrictions.

Thankfully the staff at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary diagnosed auto-immune hepatitus very quickly and Fleur is doing amazingly well.

So it seems appropriate I try to raise some cash for the BLT - I've been terrible at publicizing this, but I would be so grateful for any contributions.
